This Fontanini village is part of the Wesley UMC Nativity Walk this Sunday afternoon.
A special feature of the Nativity Walk at Wesley United Methodist Church is an impressive Fontanini Heirloom Village set up being shared by Pastor Bob Fread of Ripley Church in Traer.
Included are 11 lit village buildings including a bakery, pottery shop, market, census takers building, carpentry shop, etc. The buildings and figurines have great detail. The Freads frequently displayed the village in their home when living near Detroit, but do not have room to set it up in their home in Traer.
Until last year, when they put it up at Ripley, it hadn't been displayed for 10 years. WUMC event organizers offer special thanks to Pastor Bob for taking the time to share this wonderful set, and hope hope that all of you coming to Vinton for the store open houses will take time to visit Wesley United Methodist Church this Sunday, between 12 and 3 pm.
