News : Soup Supper raises funds for VSHS band

The sport team gift baskets include tickets to Iowa, ISU and UNI events.

The Vinton-Shellsburg High School cafeteria was full Friday evening as hundreds lined up for the annual Band Boosters Soup Supper. Chili and Chicken noodle soup, along with a variety of pies, cookies and cupcakes were available. The Post Prom Committee also displayed its sports fan baskets, which will be raffled on Friday, Jan. 27.

Funds from the supper help support the VSHS bands with equipment and other expenses.
