News : 'Templeton Rye' motorcycle on display; US Bank to offer drawing for free tickets

The motorcycle that honors Templeton Rye and the movie about Iowa's famous bootleg alcohol that is coming to the Palace on April 20 is on display in Vinton.

Owned by Steve and Terry Coppler, the bike is at U.S. Bank, which is inviting area residents to come look at the bike and sign up for a drawing for free tickets to the movie at the Vinton Palace.

Templeton Rye began in Templeton, Iowa, west of Des Moines, during the days of Prohibition. The movie features interviews with many who remember those days.
