VHSH students dressed as nerds or members of the opposite sex on Wednesday, the day that the final five Queen and King candidates were introduced. The students (pictured from left) are: Queen candidates Kacie Struve, Erica Engbretson, Erin Randall, Natalie Ketchen and Stephanie Berry. King candidates standing behind them include: Chris Merchant, Cody Sojka, Kelyn Rickels, Daniel Ervin and Will Hancock.

7:00 p.m. -- Community-wide Pep Rally including Coronation Ceremony and Power Puff Football game
Friday, September 21 --
5:00 p.m. -- Sophomore football vs. Independence
7:00 p.m. -- Pre-game activities to include Cross Country Team running game ball in from Independence; Middle School band performing National Anthem
7:30 p.m. -- Varisty football vs. Independence
8:30 p.m. -- 2012 Hall of Fame Induction (half-time of varsity game)
9:00 p.m. -- Hall of Fame reception at Vinton Country Club. Please join us after the game to welcome our new Hall of Fame Inductees --
