News : New Veterans Memorial Park silhouette honors fallen soldiers

A new silhouette at Veterans Memorial Park honors fallen soldiers.

Along with the row of flags, the anchor donated by the Vince Blank family, and other tributes to veterans, a new monument honors those who have died in war, and those served with them when they died.

Ron and Carol Geiger, along with the local VFW and AMVETS posts, helped sponsor the silhouette, which depicts a soldier kneeling in tribute next to the helmet and rifle of a fallen comrade.
