News : Street closings to affect parts of Vinton for several months

Second Avenue near the LEC is one Vinton street that will be closed this year.

The City of Vinton would like to inform everyone about the following road closures this summer due to construction projects:

Second Avenue between 3rd Street and 2nd Street: Closed due to the construction of the Benton County Law Enforcement Center until November 2010.

West 10th Street from 1st Avenue through B Avenue: Closed due to street improvements. First Avenue intersection will be open, but the A Avenue and B Avenue intersections will be closed. Anticipated timeframe is from July 1 to September 31, 2010.
