News : Benton County Sheriff's Office March Report and Arrest Log

Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 259 calls for service and investigated 17 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 203 civil papers and issued 47 traffic citations and 85 traffic warnings.

There were 50 arrests/juvenile referrals with 59 charges being filed in March 2013.

(32) were simple misdemeanors, (19) were indictable misdemeanors, and (7) were felony charges, and (1) civil violation.

Charges included: Arrest Warrants served – 13; Assault – 5; Criminal Mischief – 1; Driving While Suspended / Revoked / Barred – 4; Operating While Intoxicated – 3; Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age – 20; Drug Related – 5; Trespass – 1; Disorderly Conduct – 1; Failure to Report Injury Accident – 1; False Reports – 1; Interference With Official Acts – 1; Interference With Emergency Communications – 1; Operation Without Owner’s Consent – 1; Violation of Social Host Ordinance - 1.
