News : Celebration Park receives another donation; park to be open by late summer

The Vinton Parks & Recreation is very pleased to have received another donation for the new Celebration Park. Pictured is Mark Mossman Celebration Park Fundraising Committee Member Mark Mossman accepting the $1,000 check from Lynn & John Yundt. VPRD Director of Parks & Recreation Duane Randall stated "What a great showing of community support by John & Lynn, this will help us make the new park something very special for the whole community to enjoy." Construction of the new park will be started shortly and the plan is to have the park open by late summer.
