Tanner N. Tharp
WEST DES MOINES - Tanner N. Tharp, 29, unexpectedly left this world to begin his walk with Jesus on April 4, 2016. There he joins his mother, Angela Hofer, and five grandparents that preceded him in death.
He was born in Cedar Rapids on March 24, 1987, and grew up in Douds, IA, where he graduated from high school. He moved to the West Des Moines area in 2007 and worked for Al Laudenica at Big Al's BBQ and Catering as well as Biaggi’s Italian Restaurant. Dr. Bruce E. Baxter

Virginia Louise Smalldridge, age 86 of Marshalltown Iowa, lovingly known as “Mom” by family and friends, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2016. She was a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home, where she had been living with her husband Bearl for the past two months. Her cause of death is uncertain, but is believed to have been due to cardiovascular complications. Gene Streeter

Martin K. Gardner, 69, passed away peacefully at home with his family on March 17, 2016 in Brighton Colorado. He was born March 10, 1947 in Vinton, Iowa to Donald Gardner and Helen Sparks. He attended and graduated from Washington High School in 1966 and continued his education receiving training in many different areas of business management.
