Lyle Dean Koutny, 76, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 on a farm near Urbana following an apparent heart attack.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St., in Vinton with Rev. Sheri Andersen officiating.
Interment will be held at the Urbana Cemetery with Grave Side Military Rites conducted by the Walter J. Pamela Bush

Pamela Kay Bush, 66, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Keokuk Community Hospital in Keokuk following an extended illness.

VINTON: Vanessa D. Lipscomb, 62 of Vinton died February 25, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a sudden illness. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 – 5 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Phillips Family Center, 605 Second Avenue in Vinton. In accordance with her wishes, Vanessa was cremated. VINTON – Mary J. Williams, 72, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Blessed Hope Church with Rev. Matt Hantz officiating. Clarence Daniel Hilner, 88, of Geneseo, Ill., formerly of Vinton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be at a later date in Vinton. Ima Jean Smalley, nee Franklin, was born on November 10, 1924 in Traer, Iowa, to Glen and Leola (Finch) Franklin. She passed away on February 15th, 2015, at the age of 90.
Visitation will take place at the Ray House on Saturday , February 21, 2015, from 9 to 11 am, Followed by a private family service.
Ima Jean’s grandfather was an orchestra conductor in Traer, Iowa and instilled in her a strong love of music.
