Mary Louise Lint of Houston, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday February 23rd, at Southeast Memorial hospital, she was 86 years old.
She was born May 20, 1928, in Massena, Iowa, the daughter of the late Addie Dill and Lucius Wells and adopted daughter of the late Rowena Lavina and Harold Hays Higdon. She was married December 14, 1946 to the late Charles E. Lint.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Sherry Munn (Butch) and Bobbi Williams (Billy) of Houston, Texas, Janie Amendt (Dennis) of Somerset, Wisconsin and Vicki Houk of Missoula, Montana; one sister, Norma Lee Rosel of Osage, Iowa; one brother, Jack Knight (Violet) of Atlantic Iowa; 15 grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and her first Great-Great Grandchild is due July 27, 2015, making 5 generations. Many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends will also miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and adoptive parents, 4 brothers and her beloved husband.
She was the Brownie and Girl Scout Leader in Vinton, Iowa, a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 94 in Stephensville, Montana, and she was employed by IGA Grocery in Perryville, Missouri. She was an avid fishing assistant throughout her 54 year marriage to her beloved. She was also a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at Niday Funeral Home on Beamer and Scarsdale. Steve Coleman from Easthaven Baptist Church will be officiating the services. Friends and Family are more than welcome to attend a gathering for the celebration of Mary’s life at Billy and Bobbi Williams home.
