ELBERON: Faye Ann Novak Fisher, 67, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence in Elberon following a sudden illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

Faye was born September 18, 1948 at Belle Plaine to Paul and LaVon (Thiessen) Novak and graduated from Benton Community High School in 1966

On April 22, 1967 she was united in marriage to Roy S. Fisher at Belle Plaine. He preceded her in death in 1994.

Faye was employed at Amana Refrigeration for twenty-two years prior to retiring in 2010. She was a member of Kalina American Legion Auxiliary in Elberon and was currently serving on the Elberon City Council. She loved her home and adored her family.

Faye is survived by her mother, LaVon Novak of Belle Plaine; her sons, Mark (Stacy) Fisher of Elberon, and James (Kimberly) Fisher of Monroe; her daughter, Jennifer (Kyle) Jenn of North Liberty; her grandchildren, Ashley Fisher, Cody Fisher, Lindsey Fisher, Brandon Fisher, Brianna “Breezy” Fisher, Gabe Jenn, Peyton Stadler, and Alexa Stadler; her great grandson, Jacen Fisher; and her sister, Nancy Braasch of Elberon.

In addition to her husband, Roy, she was preceeded in death by her father, Paul Novak.
