WATKINS: Jim McNulty, 62 died Friday, January 8, 2016 at his rural Watkins home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Newhall with Father Tom McDermott as Celebrant. Interment will be held at St. Patrick and St. Paul Catholic Cemetery near Watkins. Visitation will be held at the church in Newhall from 3 PM until 7 PM on Monday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

Jim was born on September 24, 1953 in Cedar Rapids the son of Gerald and Lillian (Boddicker) McNulty. He was united in marriage to Linda Davis on February 14, 1976 at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall. Jim was a longtime dairy farmer in the Watkins area with his brother Bob. He was very passionate about his farm and his love for animals.

He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Newhall and enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and playing cards. Jim loved to watch PBR bull riding, participate in demolition derbies and spending time with his friends. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Watkins; his children, Shannon (Jamie) McNulty of Atkins, Shawnda (Kevin) Louis of Atkins, Sheena (Brian) Krall of Van Horne and Sheyenne (Haley) McNulty of Atkins; his eight grandchildren, Caden, Kaeson, Kaelynn, Kamden, Keaton, Kaeler, Cael and Jordan; his sisters, Alice Miller of Newhall, Carol Ann (Russell) Lund of Newhall, Darlene (Donald) Kerker of Newhall, and Mary Lou (James) Jacobi of Atkins; his sister-in-law, Carole McNulty of Watkins, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert and his brother-in-law Wayne Miller.
