Marlene Dismore, 81, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
She was born March 9, 1941, in Sibley, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Marie (Norman) Lauber. On Oct. 24, 1959, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Manford "Butch" Dismore, who survives. Additional survivors include: are two sons, Tony Dismore and his wife Brenda of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Daniel "Doc" Dismore and his wife Shelley of Vinton, Iowa; one daughter, Angela Wygle and her husband Lonnie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa: 10 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Vern Lauber.
She graduated high school in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduation she started working as a waitress and cook, later was employed at a drug store and she worked at Frinks Greenhouse. She and Butch had lived in Cassville for three years before moving to Iowa. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30 until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Brandon Area Community Center in Brandon, Iowa.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
