Obituaries : Wineva ‘Eve’ Mahr

Wineva 'Eve' Mahr passed on September 21, 2023.

Eve was a loving wife and mother, a respected Deacon in the Episcopal church, and a 50 year member of Kappa Delta Phi civic sorority. She graduated from Washington High School in Vinton with the class of 1963.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Pederson, and survived by her husband Steve, children Derek and Sarah (Chris) Confessore, grandchildren Tessa and Zella, mother Wineva Pederson, and siblings Denny (Cheryl), Sally (Jim Autry), Steve (Carol) and Alan (Julie).

Services will be held at St Andrew's Church, Des Moines at 11:00 am on September 27th.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St Andrew's for the North Des Moines Community Fridge, a personal favorite of Eve's.
