Obituaries : Marsha R. Morrow

Marsha Renée Morrow, 53, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 surrounded by family, following a courageous four-year battle with cancer.

She was born August 6, 1970 to Steve and Karen (Dickey) Furlong in Columbia, Missouri. After moving to Belle Plaine with her family at a young age, she graduated from Belle Plaine High School, class of 1988. Marsha moved to Alaska with her first husband, Eric Criswell where they were blessed with one son, Jesse. Upon parting ways, Marsha moved back to Belle Plaine where she met her second husband, Lyle Morrow. On September 27, 1997, Marsha married Lyle at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. They were graced with five more children. Marsha worked for Pride of Iowa and then Benco Manufacturing in Belle Plaine for 12 years.

Marsha's warmth and devotion made her house a home and welcomed all who walked through the door. She was selfless, loving, and gave all that she could to her family. Marsha was a ray of sunshine and humble in all that she did.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle of Belle Plaine; children, Jesse (Kelsey) Criswell of Belle Plaine, Brayden (Mikayla) Morrow of Omaha, NE, Caleb (Rose) Morrow of Anamosa, Kalynn (Hunter Eash) Morrow of Belle Plaine, Macy and Allison Morrow both of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Jace, Scarlett, Damon, and Oliver; mother, Karen Dickey; siblings, Andrew, Robert, Jay; and several other family and friends.

Marsha is preceded in death by her father, Steve Furlong; grandparents; and other loved ones.
