Phillip C. Bergen, Jr.
VINTON: Phillip C. Bergen, Jr., 43, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at his rural residence
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E 6th St. in Vinton. A Memorial Fund has been established.
Phillip was born August 20, 1967 at Mt. Pleasant to Phillip Clare and Waltraud Renate (Schubert) Bergen, Sr.
During the Gulf War, Phillip served his nation in the Army National Guard and was a member of Geo. G. Luckey American Legion Post #57 of Vinton. He was a truck driver for Primmer Trucking.
He is survived by his parents, Phillip, Sr and Waltraud Bergen, of Vinton and his brother, Eric Bergen of Tucson, Arizona.
