Bootsie (Wilma) Maye Hoefle, 93 died at New Aldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls, Iowa on May 31, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Vinton. Wilma was born Aug 23, 1930 to Harold and Bernice (Laura) King in Brandon, Iowa.

At a very young age, she affectionately became known as "Bootsie" and that is who she was during her entire lifetime.

On Dec 28, 1947 she married Dean Hoefle, their marriage lasting 52 years until Dean's death March 17, 2004. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her 4 sisters, her 2 daughters, Connie Zavala and Sallee (Bryon) Kincannon, and one grandson, Jordan.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Larry (JoAnn), Garry (Diane), and John, as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Bootsie touched the lives of everyone she met, and as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she loved sharing Bible truths that meant so much to her.
