JG May 20, 2025, 8:40 am I feel so fortunate to have known Gary while he attended St. James Episcopal Church. Gary was a devoted member of the Outreach Ministry Committee that I chair there. We are most grateful for the life and work of Gary Thudium. Gary was an active, devoted member of our parish and Outreach Committee.
He developed and managed a beautiful ministry for us to help children and families in Wichita. This ministry, called the Pocket Change Ministry, continues to this day. It has given more than $29,000. To the Wichita Children’s Home, Kansas Children’s Service League, Episcopal Social Services, St. Francis Ministries, and a few other charities.
We at St. James saw what a true Christian Gary was. He followed Jesus’s two great commandments- to love God and to love his neighbor.
The St. James Outreach Ministry is praying for Gary and his family now. We are continuing the beautiful work he began for us in 2015. We are most grateful for Gary’s life and work. God’s peace be with Gary and his family.
Gary’s life was well-lived.
