VINTON: Marjorie C. Hiler, 93, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone following an extended illness.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton with Pastor Zach Zajicek and Dennis Van De Venter officiating.

Marjorie was born October 6, 1919 in LaPorte City to Walter and Millie Ann (Whitley) Carlisle.On May 30, 1937 she was united in marriage to Darrell M. Hiler.He preceded her in death on November 7, 1987.

Marjorie served as a house parent at the IBSSS in Vinton for ten Years.

A long time and faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Vinton, Marjorie is survived by her sons, Gary Duane (Solange) Hiler of Hudson, David E. (Karen) Hiler of Monticello, James Lee (Venus) Hiler of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter, Sharon (Don) Wullner of Midway; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter Deleth Anderson, three brothers; and three sisters.
