Martha Sue "Schrader" Perry, 43, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the U Of I Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St., in Vinton with Rev. John Karrick officiating. Private Committal Services will be held. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday. A Memorial Fund has been established.

Martha Sue Schrader of Vinton-February 27, 1967-June 12, 2010 lost her courageous battle with cancer, with her daughter Angie by her side. Martha was born February 27, 1967 in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Caroline Schrader.

She graduated from Washington High School in Vinton in 1985. Survivors include her daughter Angela, mother Caroline of Dysart, brother Rodney, sister Rosella and a very special niece Samantha.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Schrader.

Martha worked for Amana Refrigeration, Ox Yoke Inn and was owner of Memories of you Photography. She gained many life long friends at work and enjoyed her time with co-workers and customers.

Martha was a friend and sister to all those who knew her. She was the most positive, inspiring person you will ever meet. She touched everyone she knew with her contagious smile.

Martha's pride and joy was her daughter Angie. She loved to waitress, taking pictures, and spending time with family and friends. Her house was always a visual delight inside and out during the Christmas season winning many awards.

Her daughter wishes to thank Hospice and the U of I Hospital and Clinics for the excellent care her mother received. Angie deeply appreciates the love and support she and her mother received from their wonderful friends.
