KEYSTONE:
Wilbert H. Sindt, 100, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone where he resided the past six years.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St.. John Lutheran Church in Keystone with Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery with Military Honors.
Wilbert was born November 24, 1912 in rural Keystone to Henry J. and Margaretha (Albers) Sindt. He graduated from Keystone High School in 1931. He served with the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1946. Wilbert farmed and later served as a janitor for St. John Lutheran Church. He had lived with, and cared for his parents in their home in Keystone.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lester and wife, Dorothy, brother, Elmer; and nephews, Duane Sindt and Bruce Eilers.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Lylas and several nieces and nephews.
