Opinion : Another Thank YOU to our Vinton Today readers!

Dear, dear readers and contributors.

As I sit at the computer once again check the e-mail, and find I have a few minutes break before the next wave of e-mail, I wanted to tell everyone thank you.

I attempt to send a note acknowledging that we've received your e-mails, but often I believe I have probably not had the time to say thank you because of the rush to get the news out before our deadline! So when you send a note, please know that on this side of the computer there's a little cheer going up, and frantic preparation to get that bit of news on the website. And always, always, we are thankful for you.

In the last few months it seems our e-mail has doubled, and we are thrilled!

So please, if you send in a note, and we didn't say thank you, please know that we are so grateful for your kindness in taking the time to send us those notes.

Thanks for all of the kind personal notes that have come in, those are the treats that make us smile.

To those of you who have sent in a donation, or who have met us on the street and handed us a donation, thank you so much for your support in keeping this effort around.

We are grateful for each of our advertisers who have gotten on board and supported what we believe to be the best source of community news.

In all the years that we've been in the news business, we have never felt the community support like we do today.

To those of you who just quietly read, and keep coming back for more, we see that in our numbers that are increasing.

The traffic on the website has increased steadily, and we are thrilled to have you all aboard!
