Dear Editor,
ANNOUNCEMENT
After the votes were counted on election day, the right and MAGA would have us believe Trump won by a landslide instead of the slim margin of the popular vote that it actually was. That erroneous belief meant to MAGA that Trump has a license to do anything he wants and no one is allowed to express anything else disregarding over half of the electorate who did not vote for him. I decided that someone needs to provide a different perspective based on facts. That has turned into a weekly column detailing the week's Trump news.
Hence, The Trump Report. I will continue to write this as long as Trump policies are harmful to our country.
You may not like what I write, that is your right the same way that I have a right to my opinions and can express them in my articles. The insults and negative comments indicate that I am hitting a nerve and provides the resolve to continue because for every 1 maligning me, I hear from 2 others who respect and appreciate that there is a voice for them.
I have suggested before and it remains true today. If what I write bothers you so much, DON'T READ THEM. No one is forcing you to read what I write but know that I plan to keep writing because my detractors are not the arbiter of who or what someone writes.
Now this week's edition of The Trump Report 04-12-25
Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor. Who are these guys and why should you care? Chris Krebs is the former head of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, (CISA) and Miles Taylor held a position at the Department of Homeland Security, (DHS). Both held vital positions in the first Trump administration and both ran afoul of Trump's retribution campaign.
Miles Taylor wrote an opinion piece as Anonymous in the New York Times in 2018 which painted an unflattering picture of inside the Trump chaotic operation. Chris Krebs made the mistake of telling the truth and announced publicly that the 2020 was possibly the most secure election and the Biden win was accurate.
Because he had the audacity to counter the narrative that Trump to do this day wants to use is that the election was stolen from him. Trump immediately fired him after the 2020 election for doing his job.
Trump has stated numerous times that he is going to seek retribution for anyone who went or said anything against him. This week in addition to taking away their security clearances, Trump signed an executive order for the DOJ to investigate them for charges including treason because they publicly disagreed with Trump and told the truth.

Unfortunately, there will be some, probably a lot of MAGA who will declare that if Trump wants to go after anyone who disagrees with him using the DOJ it is ok, get the tar and feathers.
To those people, I would ask what exactly do they think living in America means and what being an American is?
What makes our country so unique is the ability of our citizens to be able to express their opinions on how our government is run. That's the whole idea around the 1st Amendment; that dissent is not only permitted but is welcomed as a free and open democracy.
1st Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
What part of this amendment do you want to disregard? Trump seeks to break down the basic tenants of our democracy. His goal is to punish anyone who disagrees with him. That includes law firms that have represented the U.S. in numerous court cases against Trump as well as any individual who dared to exercise their constitutional right of free speech. The goal is not only to go after who disagree with him, but to instill fear for anyone who chooses to publicly disagree or as the case with law firms stifle legal representation who would be willing to go against Trump.
Democracies are lost when citizens ignore the danger signs that are chipping away at our constitutional rights or blindly accept the views of a selfish demagogue.

I just love that your resources are always from mainstream media, the majority of the time it is MSN. Enough said.
By the way, MSN must be something that Valerie uses as well, because I have seen the same type of referance from her.

Most of us have bigger priorities than to read the endless rants. I liked the response you got asking where were these rants from you when Biden and his Crime Family were in pushing open borders and ice cream???
Clearly there are a few screws loose in the mental thoughts behind these rants. Most people stopped reading them anyway after the first paragraph and it becomes abundantly clear the author needs to be medicated.
