Opinion Letter to the Editor: The Democrat Party – "Weapons Free"

 Dear Editor,

In the military there are a host of commands used to control the use of weapons when an enemy is engaged.  One of these is ¢â‚¬Å“Weapons Free ¢â‚¬ � — ¢â‚¬Å“Weapons Free, which denotes an order that weapons may be fired at targets not positively identified as friendly. ¢â‚¬ �  This typically happens in an ambush environment when TSHTF and you are simply fighting for your life.  That phrase has been on my mind for the past couple of weeks.  It ¢â‚¬â„¢s an odd thing to think about as we took a 4,100-mile driving vacation out west with our best travel companion friends.  I had a significant amount of ¢â‚¬Å“windshield time ¢â‚¬ � while driving to chew on the recent event of the killing of Charlie Kirk.  I spent a part of my evenings reviewing my favorite ¢â‚¬Å“daily read ¢â‚¬ � sites for news updates.  It was all disheartening.  While we visited the Arches, Zion, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon — Charlie Kirk ¢â‚¬â„¢s wife prepared for his funeral and his children are probably still trying to understand why their daddy isn ¢â‚¬â„¢t home and playing with and loving on them.

 While the left and the Democrat Party have a fondness for calling Republicans and conservatives NAZIs . . . their unending use of violence against their opponents would imply that that particular label is misplaced.  Writing in ¢â‚¬Å“Mein Kampf ¢â‚¬ � while imprisoned in 1925, Hitler outlined six major points regarding violence in the political arena.  Violence was a Political Tool, the SA — read ANTIFA today — should be used to execute the violence, Propoganda and Violence are Complementary, the need to implement his policies justified the use of force, street battles asserted dominance and demoralized his opponents, and he rejected democratic norms and advocated the use of violence to achieve his political goals.

This . . . this right here is where the Democrat Party and their ¢â‚¬Å“liberal ¢â‚¬ � cohorts are today.  I don ¢â‚¬â„¢t expect it to change as the midterms arrive, and the next Presidential cycle begins.  It ¢â‚¬â„¢s all they have in their toolkit.  Their policies have failed over and over and over.  What is left is intimidation and the physical elimination of their opponents. 

 Charlie Kirk is — sadly — the perfect example of why they have chosen this road.  He was direct, honest, well educated, welcoming to everyone, willing to talk to anyone and . . . perhaps more than anything . . . effective.  And they — meaning the Democrat Party and the liberal tools of the party — killed him.

 Virtually anyone who can be seen as a threat to the Democrat Party is now a target.  Two assassination attempts of Trump, ANTIFA running rampant in large cities from Portland to Minneapolis to LA, shooters attacking Catholic schools and parishes not to mention the random attacks on police and ICE nationwide.  All of it is meant to destabilize our country, to raise the level of fear among the populace and to ¢â‚¬Å“encourage ¢â‚¬ � them to vote the ¢â‚¬Å“right ¢â‚¬ � way.

 The Democrat Party has essentially gone ¢â‚¬Å“weapons free ¢â‚¬ � — if you are an opponent of their left leaning ideology — you are an enemy and any means necessary to take your vote out of contention — up to and including killing you — is on the table.

 Things will, inevitably, get more violent.  I can ¢â‚¬â„¢t see an ¢â‚¬Å“easy landing ¢â‚¬ � to this particular path.  Until the Democrat Party shuns this particular approach — as Obama so clearly put it years ago — ¢â‚¬Å“if they bring a knife, we bring a gun ¢â‚¬ � — they and those acting on their behalf will use that gun to tip things in their favor.

  I spent a three-day weekend prior to our departure on vacation taking an ¢â‚¬Å“Church Armed Safety Team ¢â‚¬ � course including 22 hours on a live fire range culminating in the FBI Qualification Shoot and approximately10 hours of classroom covering everything from tripping problems to stopping the bleeding from wounds.  I find it profoundly sad to even consider taking such a course — but it was held just days after the shooting up of a Catholic Mass in Minneapolis and the killing of two children and just days before the killing of Charlie Kirk.  Such is the country we are currently living in.

 If there were ever a time to bend a knee and pray for peace through the Love of God . . . this would be it.
