Dear Editor,

Greetings and salutations:

If your Christian church or Jewish synagogue does not have a security detail, get one - NOW.

We are in danger from the militant left. They killed a good Christian, Charlie Kirk, we could be next.

sg October 9, 2025, 9:09 pm Rosemary, you haven't a clue. You fail to accept that your side does nothing but tear down and destroy things. Antifa is a terrorist group, funded, by those richer than you or I, but enjoys destruction. Don't believe me? Search, "how can I get paid to go protest in Portland" there is a full age of "opportunity." But you said it's not organized. You lie, or refuse to admit it when it's in black and white.
Continue the delusion if you must, but don't tell me about J6. It was infiltrated, we just found out with over 250 FBI agents who encouraged destriction. Antifa was there as well tearing up the place. I would bet that this too was all paid. Yet only the Trump suporters arrested, funny how that works.
Why is that? The FBI is the same group that created a fake Steele Dossier, and Russiagate. That corruption is all on your side. Trump is threatening someone and it's not you and I, it's the roots of evil known as our government. When that happens, the rats know as Antifa crawl out from their hole and start destroying our country.
The only cop who died on J6 had a heart attack. Cops weren't being beaten. Antifa was destroying the place, it wasn't Trump supporters who simply walked on the property and through the door.
We are sunk as a country. You want socialism and communism, you've got it. When our country is a shithole, we will thank you and your idiocy for it.
Thank God that we have President Trump. God help us if you rig the next election, if you do we will be a third world country.

RS October 9, 2025, 10:52 am SG-If you want to know what is in the report, I suggest you follow the website that I included in my response and read for yourself. You might learn something. If you had read it, you would know that the report was from 1990-2024. The part of the report I cited addresses lone wolf attacks usually from white males who lean more to the far-right. For that reason this part of the report did not include the attack on 9/11.

I find it interesting that those on the right will always bring up the aftermath of the George Floyd killing as proof of antifa and leftwing violence but conveniently forgets the Trump instigated assault on our Capitol by his supporters on January 6, 2021. Those Trump supporting rioters brutally attacked law enforcement, ransacked the Capitol, and chanted hang Mike Pence, but nary a word from the right about that disgrace. Or the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing of the Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people including dozens of children by Timothy McVeigh, a right-wing, anti-government, hate-filled person.

BTW: Antifa is not an organized group. You will not find an administrative office or a place to send your money. Antifa is a belief system that stands up fascist ideology that unfortunately has permeated our society. That is why Trump designating antifa a terrorist organization is more of a show and a way to throw anyone who disagrees with the Trump administration as a terrorist. But I repeat antifa is not an organization it is groups of people from different ideologies and backgrounds with a common purpose; to stop fascism.

According to the Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice, https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/what-nij-research-tells-us-about-domestic-terrorism;
“The number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists, including 227 events that took more than 520 lives," the study's authors wrote in its first paragraph. "In this same period, far-left extremists committed 42 ideologically motivated attacks that took 78 lives."

After the September 10th assassination of Charlie Kirk, Director of the FBI Kash Patel removed their own study from their website because the right was bound and determined, including yourself if I remember correctly, to turn the shooting into a leftwing political event. Patel could not have an extensive study that determined the far-right performed more extremist attacks and murder than the leftwing in the public. Snopes verifies Patel’s actions. DOJ removed study from website showing most domestic terrorism is right-wing | Snopes.com.

According to Merriam Webster the definition of fascism is a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime… that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition.

For a more detailed examination check out Wikipedia that states fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement that rose to prominence in early-20th-century Europe. Fascism is characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived interest of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. Opposed to communism, democracy, liberalism, pluralism, and socialism, fascism is at the far right of the traditional left–right spectrum.

Antifa stands for anti-fascist which means that every Allied soldier fighting Germany in WWII could be described as antifa or anti-fascist. As patriotic that you claim to be John, you should be a card carrying, flag waving Antifa, unless of course, you approve of fascism.

KH October 8, 2025, 11:57 am Charlie Kirk was a medium talent carnival barker. To be impressed by him is to admit the same kind of wide-eyed fascination as an infant watching their mother jangle her keys.

Their IS a rising tide of fascism in this country, and much like Europe in the 1920s and 30s, it is coming from the reactionary right. Not your blue-haired liberal neighbor. History books will not look kindly on those who created the Fascist States of America.

That is, if anyone remains to write them when this is all over.

The man who killed Minnesota Democratic speaker of the House Melissa Hortman, her husband and wounded another Democratic lawmaker and wife was a person with a kill list of Democratic officials and a Trump supporter.

The alleged killer of Kirk grew up with a conservative Republican Trump supporting family.

The person who attacked Paul Pelosi was looking for Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and was planning on killing her, also from the right.

Tell me again why we should only fear the left.
