Letter to the Editor: The People have the Vote

Dear Editor,

The people have the vote, that is, American citizens have the vote. Who voted in the last election? We hope it was only citizens, but many state voting rolls needed to be updated, but were not.

It is certain that Trump won the citizen's vote and the electoral vote. Democrats have a problem with that. History tells us that irregularities have been common in previous times. Who is responsible? We can't be sure, but suspicions are that the left is largely responsible. Power means more than honesty.

One need only look at to rioting in Portland to see it. This is what lawlessness looks like. Trump will be President for three more years, get over it.

IK October 22, 2025, 9:53 pm To the gentlemen that has tried to set the group of TDS players here (DL, RB, & RS) straight, I thank you for trying to put some civility in the Letters to the Editor about our President. Here's a couple of FACTS that everyone knows. The only person that was killed in the Jan. 6th protest was a woman veteran who was unarmed. One of the Capitol guards shot her and no one can find out why. It's a big secret. Apparently, he was afraid of the big, bad unarmed lady since we can't get any information on the "why" that caused him to shoot her. It's my belief he didn't have a good reason so that's why we never heard the reason. The other 4 that died were natural causes and one of them was on the following day. Here's a bonus fact. President Kennedy decided to make a change to the White House by putting in a swimming pool and President Nixon put in a bowling alley. Both at taxpayer expense. And it's a wonder that when President Biden was president (or whoever it was pulling his strings) they didn't have little desks at the borders to sign up the illegal immigrants to vote Democrat and put them on the Medicaid and Medicare rolls. We know they were on them because when they're arrested they have the cards on them. Get a grip people.

RB October 22, 2025, 4:40 pm Biden won the popular vote and the electoral college too. Guess who had trouble with that? It wasn’t the left that stormed the capital, on January 6th, and killed and injured police! There is no riots in Portland. People are upset that ICE doesn’t have balls enough to go without mask or show identification! Wake up John! BTW, Biden did a good job about the hole Trump left. Most job creation ever, lowest unemployment in 50 years, record stock market, etc. Imagine if he was competent! lol

DL October 22, 2025, 2:10 pm "Rioting" in Portland, Oregon? That city covers 145 sq. miles. Those "riots" were in a 2 block area of the city. As far as Truth and Honesty goes. They don't exist in this administration. Trump told us that the building of his new playroom wouldn't affect anything about the current White House footprint. Last Friday afternoon, a back hoe started knocking down the whole East Wing. Yesterday, he announced that he will be paying himself $230 million of taxpayer money, for him being found guilty, by a jury, of 34 felonies and Civil Sexual Assault. We have to pay him for his crimes! As he claims to care about the lives lost in the Ukraine War. He praises Israel for the continual killing of innocent Palestinians. This, while he continues to kill people in boats, off the Venezuelan Coast. Instead of having our military stop those boats, when they get into U.S. waters. Why do you assume that there are Democrats complaining about the legitimacy of the 2024 Election? You are the first person that I've heard that from. That must be, yet another thing, made up by your cult leader. How can you be happy about your cult leader, unilaterally, deciding to give the Argentinian President $40 billion dollars, to help assure his reelection. How can you be happy that, because of tariffs, our farmers are suffering, yet again. Taxpayers shouldn't have to bail out anyone, for mistakes made by your cult leader. Do you realize that almost half of the Project 2025 Manifesto has been completed, or is currently, being completed? Do you realize that most of tasks in that manifesto, were taken directly from Mein Kampf? Do you realize, that daily, ICE and the National Guard are grabbing people off of sidewalks, and detaining them for 72 hour? Even though these people are naturally born citizens of The United States? (Check out Amendment IV and Amendment XIV). Taxpayers will be paying millions, or possibly billions, to these citizens that had their Constitutional Rights. Do you realize that there are numerous more instances of your cult leader ignoring our Constitution. Does he have you convinced that our Constitution is terrible for We The People? If he hasn't yet, he will convince you of that.
