Sunday found the downtown stores bustling with customers. At The Niche/Brickside Brew-N-Chew/3D Kitchens there was live music to entertain shoppers while they shopped for treasures or enjoyed a relaxing beverage and snack at Brickside Brew-B-Chew. Jay Cherry was among the singers joining in the fun downtown. He is from Batavia, Illinois a suburb of Chicago. Here's just a few seconds of him singing. The music could be heard floating through the store enticing you to come in and sit for a spell.

The other shops were bursting with shoppers and plenty of holiday cheer. As I arrived in town from a family Thanksgiving dinner, I noticed that even the street lights were getting in on the fun. "Even street lights blink a bright red and green" only Vinton's were showing off and doing it simultaneously, so of course, I had to get a picture of both street lights showing both red and green at the same time.

That of course made me start humming, "Silver Bells..."

which made me wonder if I had enough photos to fit the lines...

I didn't, but I had some of them...

So click through the photos and enjoy some of the beautiful arrangements that the local businesses have on display for this holiday season.
