News : Vinton Park & Recreation provides fun for all ages - all year!

If you don't have your kids plugged into the Vinton Parks and Recreation Department, they are missing out on a ton of fun activities! Of course, it's NOT just for kids, there are plenty of activities for adults as well.

Click for programs for adults, youth sports, youth enrichment (activities throughout the year) The adults have Pickleball, Softball and Volleyball leagues throughout the year. For the youth there is basketball, baseball/softball, blastball, cheerleading, flag football, kiddie kickers, little dunkers, swimming and a ton of other activities.

Special populations aren't left out either! The calendar includes all kinds of fun! In 2023 the first event, Casino Day, is on January 18, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Skate Center, and is free! In February there is a dance on the 15th from 1-3:00 p.m. at the Skate Center, at $2.00 per person.In March, you can go bowling on March 3, 10:00 AM, at Berry's Lanes. The cost is $8.00 per person which includes bowling and pizza party ($12.00/staff member). When things warm up there are plenty of outdoor activities scheduled as well!
