News : VS FFA Spreads Holiday Cheer with Lights and Roping

During the holiday season right before Thanksgiving, the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter and volunteers came together to decorate the town of Vinton by putting up lights and garland for local businesses. The process takes a couple of days, and a lot of preparation is by FFA members, the Alumni & Supporters Chapter, the National Honor Society members, and other volunteers.

They assisted in gathering the greenery and ensuring the right decorations were lined up for each business. Tom and Eunice Pingenot were generous in providing cookies and hot chocolate to keep everyone warm during work.

At the end of those few days, the VS FFA is wishing everyone a very happy holiday season!
