Vinton-Shellsburg High School will be buzzing with several events this week. On Thursday night beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Homecoming parade will begin at 4th St. and B Ave. Come on out and cheer our football team!
Following the parade, there will be a pep rally at the Karr Complex with the Homecoming Coronation Ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
The Jr./Sr. Powder Puff Football game will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, the freshman/sophmore football game against Maquoketa begins at 5:00 p.m.with the Homecoming Varsity Football game against Maquoketa beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Karr Complex.

As part of the Waterloo Columbus and Vinton-Shellsburg last week, (The game didn't play out like we would have liked to have seen with a 21-7 loss for Vinton.) the street sized flag was carried onto the court by the volleyball team. The flag is also scheduled to arrive on the field for the homecoming game Friday night.
Both the Vinton George G. Lucky American Legion Post 57 and the Shellsburg American Legion Post 166 present the colors to the fans gathered in the stands.
