This solicits a proposal for the sale, installation and maintenance of console cabinetry for two dispatch positions, common equipment placement and storage within the communication center.

  Kirkwood Study Abroad trip set for Costa Rica May 2011 trip to focus on environmental, cultural and ethical experiences For 11 days this spring, 15 Kirkwood Community College students and community members will take part in an intensive, diverse learning experience in Costa Rica. Kirkwood will host an educational trip to the Central American country to learn first-hand about tropical ecology, the environmental impact of industrialization and global trade, and global ethics issues.

  Robertson Featured at the ISU Crop Advantage Conference, January 26, 2011 Alison Robertson, ISU Extension Plant Pathologist   WATERLOO - Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) was widespread in Iowa during the 2010 growing season.  Dr. Robertson will “kick-off” the 2011 Crop Conference with a keynote presentation addressing SDS issues in soybean production.

  State Treasurer Michael L. Fitzgerald announced today that the deduction amount for those saving for their children's educations through College Savings Iowa has once again been raised. "Iowa taxpayers can now deduct the first $2,865 they contribute to a College Savings Iowa account from their state taxable income," said Fitzgerald.
