Quaker Oats raises $7,700 for E. Iowa Honor Flight

Quaker Oats held a fund raiser for Eastern Iowa Honor Flight at Green Square Park in Cedar Rapids Sat. June 1. For a $5 donation a bag of Quaker products worth approx $25 was received.

In the Park with FEMA Corps Team Spruce 5

When the FEMA Corps team Spruce 5 first came to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in early April the Project Outreach Liaisons Max Rusek and Kristy Reponen began the initial planning of the community day.

Local students graduate from Central College

The following local students graduated from Central College Saturday, May 11. The ceremony was held at H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse in Pella, Iowa. There were 348 graduates from 15 states and one foreign country.
