The Benton County Historical Society has established an endowment fund with the Benton County Community Foundation. Contributions are currently being sought to build the endowment to ensure that there will be an income stream available for many years in the future.

Our VFW Ladies Auxiliary 8884 of Vinton held our Essay Contest at Vinton-Shellsburg Elementary schools.  The teachers did a great job working with the students on writing their essays.
