Iowa veterans need lap robes at VA Hospital; local women invited to help

I am a volunteer at The VA Hospital in Iowa City. We hand out lap robes (quilts, afghans, fleece blankets) for veterans who are admitted to the VA Hospital for their treatments daily (Monday-Friday).

We have had a tour group come to town today. About a dozen ladies from the Welcome Club of Cedar Rapids are spending the afternoon in Vinton. They went to the 5th Street Koffee Haus for lunch, drove around to see the chainsaw carvings and toured the IBSSS.
