Friends of the Center Point Library to hold Book Sale June 11,12

The Friends of the Center Point Library annual Book Sale is Friday, June 11, from 3 to 7, and Saturday, June 12, from 9 to 1:30.  Hardcovers are $1, paperbacks are 50 cents and children's books are 25 cents.

Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum and Log Cabin to be Open

The Center Point Historical Society's Depot Museum/Strait Log Cabin will be open Sundays 2 to 4 beginning June 6.   Museum admission is free.   This year's theme is "School: Town and Country.

Friends of the Center Point Library secretary Carolyn Roseberry has been working on bunches and boxes of used books for the upcoming Book Sale. At its May meeting, the Library Friends made final plans for the sale to be held on Friday, June 11, from 3 to 7, and on Saturday, June 12, from 9 to 1:30 in the Library Community Room.

Doors will open at 08:00 for a freewill donation breakfast of: biscuits and sausage gravy, plain scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with onions and peppers, sausage/egg/cheese on an English muffin, coffee, milk, juice.
