  The idea for a concert in the park all started with a 13-year-old boy. Noah Yamilkoski, once of Center Point now resides in Heaven. Noah loved music and his church family and he especially loved praising God in song and dance before services started.

  For the last year, Benton County Public Health and Vinton-Shellsburg community members have been working diligently to collect valuable data to address safety concerns in our community through a project called I-WALK, an Iowa Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program.

  With the recent increases seen in farmland values, many people are asking "Can I afford to spend $8,000/acre for farmland?"  Should I sell or purchase farmland at the present high prices?  Making farmland purchase or sale decisions are difficult by the nature of the dollars involved but are extremely difficult during periods of volatile prices for corn, soybeans, and input cost.
