January 21, 2025The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Seeman, Tippett and Volz present. Supervisor Seeman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton County Service Center. Benton County Supervisor Notes 1/21/25
The Benton County Supervisors will be meeting with every department that seeks funds from the county. Over the next several weeks budgets will be created and tweaked to stay within the parameters of the available funds. As the supervisors have talked amongst themselves the consensus is not see an increase in the spending. Supervisor Ron Tippett would like to see the spending lowered.
Hello, Iowa House District 84 from the State Capitol!
We completed a busy shortened week at the Iowa State Capitol this last week, where Monday, the 20th was Martin Luther King Day and happened to coincide with the inauguration of President Trump as the 47th president.
