JODY (MADLOM) PUFFETT FOR CONGRESS
Jody (Madlom) Puffett of Delhi announced today that she is running for U.S. House of Representatives for Iowa’s 2nd District in
the November general election as an Independent candidate.
When asked about her motivations, Puffett responded, “Five months from now will likely be the most critical election in our nation’s history.

Benton County Supervisor Meeting Notes 6/25/24
The Benton County Supervisors called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The agenda, minutes and claims were approved as well as a $6,500 ARPA claim. Barb Greenlee, presented for approval a farm exemption application for Karen Fountain in a part of SE ¼ SW ¼ of Section 6, T84N, R10W to build another house. It was approved. Approval was granted for a Class C Retail Alcohol License for Beyonder Resort at Lazy Acres LLC.
