On Saturday, five veterans who exemplify the courage, commitment, and sacrifice that define our military heroes were honored in a Quilts of Valor ceremony at Riverside Park in Vinton.

Since 2018, each October Clipper Corner pulls out all the stops to help the Gifts of Hope Foundation with their fundraising efforts. The shop is in its 39th year and is using the fundraiser to lend a hand to those who need a little extra help during a breast cancer diagnosis.
