On 12-19-19, at about 3:44 PM, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible Identity Theft at Van Horn Motor Company on Hwy 30 near Newhall IA.

Kwik Star to begin construction in March

A representative of Kwik Star has confirmed that construction on the new store will begin in March of 2020. The company plans to have the new store completed by the end of August 2020.

Santa's Mailbox to remain in front of LaGrange Pharmacy through Friday evening

Area Kiwanis Club gives back to area children

Holiday with a Cop goes beyond the Vinton City Limits

The Vinton Police Department asked for the community's help to raise money for their 2nd Annual Holiday With A Cop event. The goal was to raise $110 for each child that will be participating.
