The Lions Club recently presented the V/S Booster Club with a check for $2000 dollars, money generated from the Lions food trailer sales at this fall's football games.

Holiday with a Cop begins Fundraising at Pizza Ranch

Last night area police officers arrived at the local Pizza Ranch in an effort to raise funds for the Holiday with a Cop program. The project was created to assist area children in the purchase of needed clothing and a bit of fun in the form of a toy all made possible with donations from the community.

Vinton Kiwanis deliver dictionaries to 3rd Grade Students

Each year, the Vinton Kiwanis Club delivers dictionaries to the 3rd grade classes in the Vinton Shellsburg School District. Making the delivery this year were Alexa Spiedel, Dave Gates and President Tom Husnik.
