News : Mount Auburn Legion dedicates POW-MIA Chair of Honor

The Mt. Auburn Legion is the proud recipient of the POW-MIA Chair of Honor, dedicated by Rolling Thunder Inc. Two Chairs were dedicated on Veterans Day, one dedicated to Mt. Auburn by Robby Taylor, President of Iowa Chapter 1.

"This Chair is in honor of the 92000 soldiers that have not returned home," Taylor stated.

About 50 people filled the Mt. Auburn Legion Hall for the annual Veterans Day Dinner in honor of all Veterans and the dedication of the Chair of Honor.

"The Chair of Honor is a great way to teach our children about the sacrifices of war and learn what serving our country is all about," said Post Commander Robert Eckmeier.
