News : NCCC Team Gets First Taste of Disaster Relief

Maple 5, the world’s best AmeriCorps NCCC team ever, was pulled from their project restoring prairie grasslands in Indiana and sent to Ottumwa, IA to assist the Wapello County Long Term Recovery Committee until Dec. 18.

On their first day the team received a case management orientation and is currently mapping and organizing the residents in order to expedite the survey process.
