News : VPRD Sledding Party postponed due to lack of snow

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is postponing the annual Sledding Party to a to-be-determined date. On account of the slightly warmer temps and sunshine, most of the snow on the Riverside Park sledding hill has melted. The date of the rescheduled party will be dependent upon future snowfall and will be announced through various local media outlets as well as the VPRD facebook page.
