February 2 Korina D. Greenwood, 21, Vinton, Charged with Providing Alcohol to Minors (Serious Misdemeanor).
February 8 Rusty Rouse, 43, Vinton, Charged with Theft 2nd Degree (Class "D" Felony).
February 14 Robert R. Mikesell, 32, Luzerne, Charged with Theft 2nd Degree (Class "D" Felony).
February 14 Jennifer L. Knapp, 34, Cedar Rapids, Charged with Driving While Barred (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
February 16 Joshua N. Randall, 31, Vinton, Charged with Public Intoxication - 3rd Offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
February 16 Justin J. Miller, 24, Vinton, Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor), and an Intrastate Warrant.
February 25 Jeremy L. Burgess, 25, Vinton, Charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor) and an Intrastate Warrant.
Juvenile Referrals
February 2 A 17 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Assault Causing Injury - 2 Counts (Serious Misdemeanors), Interference With Official Acts - 2 Counts (Simple Misdemeanors), and Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age (Simple Misdemeanor).
Thirteen citations were issued in February. One resulted from one state reportable traffic accidents, two for discharging BB gun within city, one for Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age, one for Minor Using Tobacco - 1st offense, one for Minor Using Tobacco - 2nd offense, and the remainder for other traffic offenses.
Fourteen written warnings were issued in February.
Three parking/street storage/snow removal violations were issued in February.
For the month of February, 119 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
