Carpa, 76, of Bettendorf, Iowa, went to be with the Lord and Savior.
She passed away on April 30, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her
loving family.
A
private funeral service will be held at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral
Home in Bettendorf, and burial will follow at Rock Island National
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesis
Hospice or the Parkinson's Foundation.

Shirley A. Brosh, 90, of Solon, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Keystone Place at Forevergreen following a brief illness. Celebration of Life services will be livestreamed beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, on Brosh Chapel's Facebook page. Patricia A. Fowlkes, 84 years old, of rural Independence, Iowa, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Urbana, Iowa, at the home of her daughter. She was born on February 8, 1936, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Philip Barron and Marjorie Adelaide (Meggison) Bisdorf. She graduated from East High School in Waterloo. On January 28, 1956, she and James Oscar Fowlkes were married in Waterloo.

Robert "Bob" A. Radeke, 69, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, was called home by God on Monday, April 27, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.Bob was born Sept. 9, 1950, to George and Doris (Noska) Radeke in Belle Plaine. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1968. On July 27, 1968, Bob married Donna Upah. The couple moved to Luzerne, where Bob farmed and worked for Morton Buildings.

Clarice Lilja, 90, Pea Ridge, AR, formerly of Vinton, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2020.Private services will be Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.Clarice Marie Karr was born August 12, 1929 in Palo, IA, the daughter of Kenneth and Vera Hepker Karr. She grew up and attended school in Cedar Rapids, graduating from Roosevelt High School.

ROBERT L. BROWN Gold Canyon, Ariz. Bob Brown, formally of Shellsburg and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2020, surrounded by his three daughters. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bob was born March 13, 1939, in Independence, Iowa, to Ralph and Laurel Brown. He graduated from Van Horne High School in 1956. He was active in all sports and was proud to be a Van Horne Hornet baseball catcher.

Jim was born February 13, 1922 in Vinton, Iowa, the only child of Irmel L. Youel and Nelle (Stewart) Youel. While Jim was a young boy, the Irmel Youel family moved to Fort Madison, Iowa.
