CEDAR RAPIDS:  Margaret (Kelley) Cashman, 87 of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Vinton died suddenly at her home on May 12, 2016.  Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 16, 2016 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 East Sixth Street in Vinton.  Interment will be in Big Grove Cemetery, rural Vinton.  Visitation will also be at the funeral home one hour prior to services.

SHELLSBURG – Robyn Snyder Bull Benson, 68, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at her home in Shellsburg due to cancer. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Shellsburg Presbyterian Church with Pastor Mike Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 16, also at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.

GARRISON:      Sue A. Hill, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, May 13, 2016 at the University Of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics surrounded by her family.  She had fought a courageous battle with cancer.      Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m, Monday, May 16, 2016 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E 6th St.

LA PORTE CITY – David K. Glime, 71, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo due to cardiovascular arrest. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at American Lutheran Church in La Porte City with Rev. Doug Rokke officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Sunday, May 15, from 4 to 7 p.

BRANDON:       Pastor Roland R. “Ron” Fulton, age 68, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 following a struggle with cancer.      Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Oak Grove Church, rural Shellsburg with Pastor Jesse Henkle officiating.  Interment will follow at the Walker Cemetery.

KEYSTONE:  Lucille Junge, 96 died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Keystone Care Center.            Private Family Funeral Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone with Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating followed by interment in the Keystone Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Keystone Care Center or St.

GARRISON - Brian J. Robinson, Sr., 58, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton with AMVETS Chaplain Lonnie McDonald officiating. Visitation will be an hour before services at the funeral home. Military rites will be performed by George G.

Ralph Kotouc, 70, formerly of Vinton, died March 28, 2016, in an automobile accident, as he was driving to Iowa from Arkansas.  A memorial service will take place Wednesday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at the Keystone Cemetery, with a luncheon planned following the service. Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Sumner; his daughter, Stephanie; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Morgan of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; a sister Anna (Al) Siemmering of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, John (Ida) of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Jody (Annette) of Toledo.

A funeral service for Everett Schirm, 86, of Armstrong, Iowa, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at United Methodist Church in Armstrong, with Pastor Lyndon Roesler officiating. Interment will be at Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong, Iowa. Military rites are by the Armstrong VFW. Everett passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home near Armstrong, Iowa.

VINTON -- Gerald Donovan “Pete” Pederson, 95, of Vinton, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton due to complications of a stroke.
