CINCINNATI, OH:  Ruth L. Sheffler, 92, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Cincinnati, of a stroke related illness.  Ruth was formerly of Mount Auburn.      Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 6, 2010, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in La Porte City with Rev. Mike Gudka officiating.

Lyle F. Albert, 80, of Oelwein, formerly of Vinton, died peacefully Friday, March 5, 2010, at Mercy Living Plus in Oelwein, IA, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease.    Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday, March 8, 2010 and from 9:30 until service time on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home, Vinton.

Evelyn A. Bush, age 81, died Saturday, March 06, 2010 at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart following a lengthy illness.   Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Prairie Creek Christian Church in rural Vinton with Pastor Dennis Sackett officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and from 9:30 a.

Lynne Marie (Rischer) Pealer, age 66, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo, with her family by her side.A celebration of Lynne's life will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Friday, June 25, 2021, at Tara Hills Country Club, rural Van Horne.Lynne was born on June 11, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Joan (Seda) Rischer, and graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1972.
