VAN HORNE: Helen Mae Abrams, 79, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Vinton Lutheran Home following an extended illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Vinton Lutheran Home Chapel.
She was born June 29, 1934 at Long Beach, NY to Louis and Mae (Reed) Abrams.
Helen lived most of her life in New York and Florida and moved to Iowa in 2005. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Larry) Bartlett of Van Horne; her son, John Forbes of Van Horne; her grandchildren, Tara (Lance) Brennan of Keystone, Jason (Ann Marie) Koncelik of Center Moriches, NY and Jeffrey Koncelik of Holbrook, NY; her great grandchildren, Ashley Brennan, Alyson Brennan, Cole Brennan, and Ava Koncelik.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Vicky David.
